From August 28 to August 31 (Labor Day Weekend), The Front Festival will return to iconic venues across Austin, including The LINE Hotel Austin, The Contemporary Austin—Laguna Gloria and Cheer Up Charlies for four days of independent music and film.
★ DAY 1 — 8.28.2025 — Opening Night Swim
Come through for a special edition of our classic Swim Sessions at The LINE Hotel Austin to kick off The Front Festival 2025.
★ DAY 2 — 8.29.2025 — Annual Music Showcase
Hot, Texas music. Join us at Antone’s Nightclub for our Annual Music Showcase, featuring a blend of contemporary cumbia, conjunto and experimental acts from San Antonio and Austin, Texas.
★ DAY 3 — 8.30.2025 — Annual Film Showcase
Hot, Texas films. Meet us under the stars and by the lake for a curated selection of 12 independent films by women and LGBTQ+ directors and writers in Texas, plus community panels and performances with The Contemporary Austin.
★ DAY 4 — 8.31.2025 — Labor Day Pool Party
To close out The Front Festival 2025, join us for a daytime pool party, featuring Future Front Resident DJs.

The Front Festival is an end-of-summer community festival, featuring independent music, film and art in Austin, Texas. Curated by Future Front, we put Texas women and LGBTQ+ artists at the front of our lineups. Everybody welcome.
