1.) What is BABES FEST?
Produced by #BBATX, BABES FEST is an annual music, art, film, comedy and edu festival based in Austin, Texas for people who like a good show. We do what we do because we're about being loud and showing up. We believe that women and nonbinary artists, producers, entertainers and cultural organizers deserve equal opportunity to their peers.
2.) Is BABES FEST only for women?
Nope, nope. Come one. Come all. (Seriously.)
Art this good is meant for everyone.
3.) Where can I see the 2018 lineup?
This year, BABES FEST is comprised of five events over the course of four days at four venues, featuring 75+ artists across music, film, comedy and art. You can attend the whole shebang or grab individual tickets. Click here for the day-by-day play-by-play.
4.) Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets are available here. You can purchase a $50 3-Day Pass or individual tickets for each show (which range from $10 to $25).
5.) Where is the festival?
The festival occurs across multiple venues from August 30 to September 2 in Austin, Texas, including The Mall (Opening Reception on 08.30.2018), the Motion Media Arts Center (Day One on 08.31.2018), Cheer Up Charlies (daytime events on Day Two 09.01.2018 and Day Three 09.02.2018) and Mohawk (nighttime events on Day Two 09.01.2018).

6.) If I'm traveling from out of town, where should I stay?

Our opening reception and Day One events are in East Austin. Day Two and Day Three events are in Downtown Austin. We suggest saying in Central or East Central hotels and locations. If you need help selecting your accommodations, please email thebabes@bossbabes.org.
7.) Will food and drink be available at each venue?
Every venue will have a bar available, as well as a selection of snacks. For Day Two and Day Three evens, there are many restaurants and eateries within walking distance of Cheer Up Charlies and Mohawk Austin. For a list of recommendations, please email hebabes@bossbabes.org.
8.) How should I get to the festival? What are the suggested modes of transportation?
Although parking may be available at some of our venues (particularly the opening reception and Day One), we do suggest carpooling or utilizing ride-sharing services for all days of the fest.
9.) Do you offer press passes?
